About Low & Slow Bassets
At Low & Slow Bassets, we are AKC Bred, Embark Paneled tested, floppy eared loving Basset Hound Breeders. We are: All things Low and Slow. Our family-oriented approach ensures that each Basset Hound is social, affectionate, and well-adjusted. Raised in a loving environment, they develop the temperament and companionship qualities that make them perfect for their forever homes.

I think I’m a very lucky guy that I got my little and sweet Lolla from Cory and Brenda!!! I reserved Lolla about 20 days before she was ready to go to a new home. And throughout that time Cory and Brenda always stayed in touch and they answered all of the questions that I had (I had a tons of them ) It’s my first Basset Hound. At Low & Slow Bassets, our Basset Hounds are known for their gentle and loving temperament. They are loyal companions and great with families.
Care
We provide the best care for our Basset Hounds, ensuring they are healthy, happy, and well-nurtured from birth to when they join their forever families.
Health
At Low & Slow Bassets, we prioritize the health and well-being of our Basset Hounds. We do extensive DNA and Health panels through Embark for our Sires and Dames. All puppies get a well check and their first set of shots at 6 weeks old. Weekly deworming schedules starting at 2 weeks old and get their first Heart Guard Pill at 8 weeks old.
Enrichment
We expose our puppies right off the bat to being held and handled. They are constantly picked up- and loved on. We expose them to various sounds, sights, and textures. They experience outside playtime as well as playtime with the bigger dogs & Cats. They are around children and adults alike.
